Cocoon Hotel La Rive - Bourscheid

Wonderful location in a lovely area, next to the Luxembourg Ardennes. the hotel offers a great selection of facilities, including a work desk, multi-channel television, and a seating area.

It was a such wonderful stay, quiet place. We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 1 night, nevertheless everything was brand-new. The accommodation had a riverside location in the worst desert we 've ever tasted. Moreover, it was very close to the restaurant for dinner which is an absolute must, a flowing river and the forest.

Truly enjoyed staying at the double room with king size bed. Location: the hotel was not far from the Luxembourg Ardennes, the restaurant and bar, and the river, the castle and the spectacular hills.

The breakfast was delicious with great views. the team was super-friendly and kept the space clean. the location was stunning and particularly good on the top of the hill. it's next to Bourscheid Castle and Luxembourg.

We had a car, so 10 minutes drive to Vianden Castle. We appreciated cocoon hotel la rive.

Beautiful location and the other cocoon hotel next door did the best meal I have had in years-mussels, steak and panacotta. Every bit of food was quality food and everything was cooked to perfection along with good service-we went from London overnight just for the meal £ location!

staff didn't explain anything at reception such as use of spa at hotel next door & hours it could be used.

A wide range of food for breakfast, it was outstanding! . This hotel was located in a riverside area close enough to a flowing river in a valley, Luxemburg for a business trip and the forest. It also was amazing on the top of the hill. At the time of booking room included meals, we could only eat between 6.00-8.00pm

The best thing about the hotel is the surroundings, which combine nature and peacefulness with easy access to major routes.

No air conditioning. This is barely acceptable for a four-star venue. Service at the restaurant was slow at times.

The quiet and lovely location at the top of the hill was amazing.

Nice quiet & green location. Wifi available in the room (normally only in public areas)

No heating until the evening of the second day (at the beginning of April it's still only around 10 to 15°c outside) I had to take breakfast in another hotel some 200m down the road because I needed it at 7.15h (breakfast in this hotel is only from 8am) I had to wait around 10 minutes before somebody got me some coffee while taking breakfast. This is, in my eyes, not a hotel that caters for business travellers.

It is very cozy place.Also, the Location is perfect.

I am wondering if the wall between rooms are thin, so that I often heard the bath sound / the conversation from the next rooms.

The breakfast offering boasts a wide array of delicious food options. the double room comes equipped with laundry or cleaning services, a king-size bed, and offers fantastic views. the hotel staff are accommodating and the location is superb, situated right alongside the Sure river.

Room number 26 wasn't worth 4 stars; lamps weren't working, no outside view (under the roof top), shower was broken, walls not too clean.

The location is excellent. We've been here before so we already know this. The service is very good and the breakfast was much better than the last time.

We took the gastronomic package but the the two dinners (3-course & 5-course) were very disappointing. I'm sure the chef was not the same one we had a few years ago. The last time we had dinner at this hotel, the food was exceptional. Back then, it was truly a wonderful gastronomic experience. I would still recommend this hotel for the great location and the good service...but the dining experience was rather mediocre.
